Dr. Wang Wei, the member of "Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party", the Chief Expert of "Atmospheric Chemistry & Aerosol Division, Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences", the a deputy secretary general and executive director of "Chinese Society For Atmospheric Environmental Sciences", the vice-chairman "Professional Committee of Atmospheric Chemistry, Chinese Meteorological Society", the vice-chairman of "Professional Committee of Aerosol, Chinese Society of Particuology", the director of "Chinese Society of Particuology", the director of "Professional Committee of Atmospheric Environment, Chinese Meteorological Society", the member of "National Environmental Monitoring Technical Committee of Standardization Administration", passed away in Beijing at the local time of 2:15 on 22 Mar. 2010, after he fighted with lung cancer for nearly one and a half years. He was 47 years old.
