Funeral Committee for Dr. Wang Wei,

I was deeply saddened to hear about his death, and I would like to convey my sincere condolences on the passing of Dr. Wang Wei.

I also express my deepest condolences to Prof. Meng Wei, the President of CRAES, and all the staff of CRAES to lose their respected and eminent scientist. His death after suffering from lung cancer is tragic and heart breaking.

Dr. Wang Wei was not only a great scientist but a good friend of all of us.

I remember he was passionate about his work, and committed to the LTP project since it began with the same goal to improve air quality in Northeast Asia. I would like to say that his efforts and contributions have made it possible to continue our joint research up until now. 

I know how difficult this must be for all the colleagues in the CRAES and other LTP members to lose such a great scientist and a friend.  

He will be dearly remembered by all of the LTP members for his passion and vocation in life.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family members, friends, & colleagues.

Also, all the LTP members send their deepest condolences on his death.
